Dearsly, Collingwood Street, ■ Wanganui, was married to John ‘ [Thomas, second son of Mr. ana Mr., ■ iW. Jeromson, Kitchener Street, Wanganui. Rev. J. .F. Marlin was the lofliciating minister, and Mr. J. P. j Whitlock was tiie organist. Th- ! church was decorated oy 11 lends o> . Williamson sang “My Prayer. ’ ' ' Tne bride, who entered the enures) with her father, wore a pearl satin ’; faconne gown cut on classical lines. ; featuring a high waistline, the skirt ‘‘falling to form a long scalloped tram ' finished with orange blossom. The jincckline was caught with orange bios- - Isom and th- full sleeves tapered to a II point over the hand and were finished J with tiny buttons. A beautiful emijbruidereu tulle veil fell from a halo J of pearls and orange blossom to form ;{a second train. Her shower bouquet t ; was of carnation, roses, iny oratum orange blossom and maidenhair lent, j! Attending the bride were Miss . Phyllis Dearsly, sister of thejjride, a> 1 bridesmaid, and Miss Beth Moss, Pals merston North, as flower girl. Th? r bridesmaid wore orchid tafieta cut u» - simple lines with ruching up the from and featuring a heart-shaped neckline with deeper shaded sash and velvet flowers at the neck. The sleeve*, I winch were puffed, featured a rucheu - centre panel. A silver scalloped headt dress finished with orchid flowers wa.~ • worn on the head. The flowergin - wore green taffeta with gathering at - the waist and shoulders, with two / dainty velvet flowers marking the . waistline from the centre panel. The square neck was finished with small - dark velvet bows at the corner. She ■ wore green slipper and green flowers , in her hair. Both attendants cari ried posies of pansies, carnations, pin- , cushion dahlias and maidenhair fern in tunings of orchid. Mr. Frank Jeromson. brotner of th*. : bridegroom, was man, and - Messrs. M. T. Dearsly and N. Ginn . were the ushers. The reception was held at the Rendezvous, which was decorated with flowers to match the briual retinue. Mrs. O. T. Dearsly received her guests wearing a navy edge-to-edge coat over a clover floral frock with navy hat ’ and accessories. Her bouquet was of 1 pincushion dahlias, delphinias to tone with the frock, and maidenhair fern. 1 Mrs. W. Jeromson wore a navy frock 1 with gold trimmings, navy hat and accessories. She carried a bouquet of » waterlilies, carnations and maidenhair fern. - When Mr. and Mrs. J. 1. Jeromson > left by car for the north, the bride was wearing a floral green frock with • bottle green edge-to-edge coat, green • hat and accessories, and a fur stole, ■ the gift of the bridegroom. MOOSMAN —DEM ES. On Saturday, February 3, Ellen Phyn, third daughter of Mi. and the late Mrs. Delves. Carlton Avenue, Wanganui, was married at Christ . Church to Norman Alphons, third son . of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Moosman, i 33 Plymouth Street. Wanganui. Archs deacon Young officiated, and Mr. T. 1 W. Slater was the organist. The l church was daintily decorated with i blue hydrangeas and gold gladioli to match the frocks of the matron of ! honour and the flower girl. The bride wore a cnarming gown ! of ivory satin made with a softly r gathered bodice and long tight-fitting . sleeves, the skirt falling into a long Lain. The beautiful embroidered ven formed a second train and was held . in place by a coronet of magnolia • lilies. She carried a sheaf oi St. Joseph lilies. , Mrs. A. Kjoss, sister of the bride, i was matron of honour, and Miss . Jacqueline Del vies, neice of the . bride, the flower girl. The matron of honour wore a pale gold satm. frock, the very full skirt falling from a finely-pleated bodice with short sleeves, also pleated. A hair bandeau of flowers toning with the bouquet of gold gladioli was worn. The flower giri, carrying a basket of flowers and rose petals, looked very sweet in a simple frock of hyacinth blue pat- , terned satin with full puff sleeves. Mr. Len Garrick was bestman. The reception was held at the Rendezvous, where the tables were decorated with blue and gold flowers to tone with the bridal retinue. The handsome three-tier cake also had touches of blue and gold among its floral decorations. Mrs. I. H. Ross, Marton, sister of the bride, received the guests wearing a smart clover floral ensemble with hat to match. She carried a dainty posy in clover tonings. Mrs. H. Tate, bister of tne bridegroom, assisted her. She wore a smart tailored ensemble in airforce blue, matching hat and fur stfle. Her posy was of red toning carnations. For travelling the bride choose a navy blue tailored costume with which was worn a white Swiss lace and georgette blouse. Navy hat and accessories and rich skunk necklet com-1 pleted her ensemble.
