THE SWIMMING CLUB The Waverley Swimming Club held an unofficial club night in the Waverley baths last week. The weather was cold and wet and few competitors took part. Results were:— 25 Yards Girls.—Barbara Bilton 1, Esme Walker 2, Colleen Aiken 3. 25 Yards Boys.—fan Aiken 1, Ross Dallison 2, Marsden McGorrey 3. Women's 50 Yards. The official opening wilj take place to-night when it is expected there will be a good attendance of local members a.d visitors from Wanganui clubs. GIRLS’ AUXILIARY The final meeting of the Girls’ Auxiliary for the year was held at the Manse last week, in the form of a social evening. There was a good attendance of members.
