PALESTINE TO-DAY

BRITAIN AND THE JEWS LECTURE BY MR. ( . S. WILSON. At his lecture in McGruer's Hall on Sunday, Mr. Chas S. Wilson, in dealing with World Events from a British Israel viewpoint, produced over 100 very attractive slides concerning his subject, “Palestine To-day.” Having revealed Judah’s relation to Britain, Mr. Wilson showed from Bible prophecy how God had definitely promised according to Ezekiel (Ch. 37) that Ephraim (Britain) was to be the instrument in God’s hands to unite Israel, (the 10 tribes) to Judah (the Jews) and pointed out that this prophecy is being fulfilled since Lord Allenby entered Jerusalem on behalf of Britain in 1917, exactly to the year, l 2520 years, (Judah's seven times punishment period), after the first Jewish captives were carried away into Babylon in 603 B.C. Persecuted and driven from other nations the Jews had been protected and helped back to Palestine by Great Britain, while America also has been uniting' with Britain in their preservation. According to the Balfour declaration, Palestine, over which the Union Jack and the Zionist Jewish flag are both flying to-day, was to be a national home for the Jewish people. Here Mr. Wilson traced the birtn of the Arabs, who. supported by Germany and Italy, are contesting the land with the Jews who are the rightful owners. but explained that although the Arabs are Abraham's seed by Hagar, Sarah’s Egyptian maid, they, accord- ; : to Bible prophecy had no claim

whatever to Palestine, and that according to the lecturer, whose statement was backed by ’ending authorities, the only solution to the trouble in Palestine to-day, is the complete fulfilment by Britain of hei agreement with the Jews, in the Balfour declaration. Mr. Wilson then showed how according to Israel’s Messiah’s (Jesus Christ) own prophecy, the Gentiles were to head down Palestine, “until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.’’ The beautiful slides shown revealed that in every way Britain has been building up what the other nations have trodden down, and that the only logical conclusion to come to, was that Britain cannot be a Gentile power e.id therefore must belong to Israel.

The lecturer intends to continue his subject of “Sickness and Disease—it’s Cause and Cure,” next Saturday, in the same hall at 8 p.m., the subject being “Israel's Physicians—-who are they?”
