FACE DOWNWARD IN COT ACCIDENTALLY SUFFOCATED The death of a child, found lying face downward in its cot hall" an hour after being put to bed, \vas caused by accidental suffocation, stated the verdict returned by the coroner, Mr. S. M. Dixon, after the inquest yesterday. The infant daughter, aged live montns, of Mr. and Mrs. R. Anderson, Glasgow Street, had been placed in her cot about 8.30 p.m., and was found dead half an hour later, the evidence showed. The police were represented at the inquiry by Constable J. Willetts; of Aramoho.
