“Is the Universe, including man, evolved by atomic force?'' was the subject of the lesson-sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday, June 18. The golden text was 1 Corin. 8:6: “To us tnere is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him.'' Among the citations which comprised the lessonsermon were the following from the Bible: “Lift up your eyes on high, anu behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all bynames by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power, not one faileth." (Isaiah 40: 26). Also the following passages front the Christian Science textbook: “Science and Health with Key to the' Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy, “Did man, whom God created in a word originate in an egg? When Spirit made all, did it leave aught for matter to create? Ideas of Truth alone are reflected in the myriad manifestations of Life, and thus it is seen that man springs solely from Mind." (p. 543
