FOR THE DAVIS CUP MATCHES ON CONTINENT LONDON, May 14. Results of Davis Cup elimination matches on the Continent are:— At Rome, Italy eliminated Monaco. In the doubles, G. Vido and Cucelli (Italy) beat V. Landau and A. Noghes (Monaco), 6-3, 6-1, 6-0. At Budapest, Hungary and Yugoslavia, Mi tic (Yugoslavia) beat E. Gabory (Hungary), 6-3, 7-9, 2-6, 6-1, 6-1. Aboth (Hungary) J?eat F. Puncec (Yugoslavia), 7-5, 4-6, 7-5, 11-9. The winners of this match will meet Italy in the next round. In the doubles, Puncec and Mitic (Yugoslavia) beat Aboth and Gabory (Hungary), 6-1, 4-6, 6-2, 7-5. McNEILL BEATS CRAMM HELSINSKI, May 13. In the final, of an international lawn tennis tournament, Don McNeill (United States) beat G. Cramm (Germany), 6-1, 6-8, 6-3.
