i EXPORTS FOR LAST SIX MONTHS. LARGE INCREASE SHOWN. Exports of frozen meat from New Zealand during the six months of the current season to April 30, showed increases in every class except pork. All the chilled beef, except 393 quarters for Honolulu, and all the boneless beef, except 489 bags for Honolulu and other Pacific Islands, and 2890 bags for New York, went to the United Kingdom. The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business last week; There is very little inquiry for wethers. The demand and prices for ewes are steady. The market for lambs is steadier and it is thought that prices will remain steady at present quotations.
