Coles and Co., Ltd., has advised the Stock Exchange Association that the closing date for applications for the new share issue has been extended to July 31. The second payment date is extended to January 31, 1940. The directors also have decided that any dividend payable for the halfyear ending June 30 may be applied by New Zealand shareholders only toward the payment due on July 31. Authority for the signature will be | forwarded with the application form.
