RUGBY Although Bulls fielded three teams on Saturday, no Rugby fixture was set down to be played nere, which appears to be bad management on somebody's part. The improved showing of the Bulls senior side, which defeated the leaders, Halcombe, on their own ground, is very encouraging, and the meeting between Marton Oid Boys and Bulls, at Bulls, on Saturday next should be full of interest. Flea Stock was in good kicking form against Halcombe, putting over two penally goals and converting two tries. Foley and Bending scored nice tries, and the former ex-Wellington player is a tower of strength to Bulls, ilallamore played a sound game, but finished up with a rickea ankle. The younger members of the team all gave a good account of themselves, anu when Culpan gets into form the side will take a lot of beating. Culpan showed all nis old cleverness, and broke through repeatedly, but lack of condition slowed him up when he appeared certain to score. For Halcombe, Pye played a great game, and with Hartley added to the score with fine goals. Details are not available, bui the correct score was: Bulls, 19; Halcombe, 14— not 16-14 as appeared in some papers. Bulls juniors and thirds travelled to Hunterville, the former losing, 6-8, and the latter winning, 10-9. Flaying at Flock House, Marton Old Boys thirds won a bright game by 16 to 3. For Flock House Mansfield kicked a penalty goal. RANGITIKEI LADIES’ GOLI CLUB Following is tiie draw lor a bogey i match, to be played on May lo; Seniors. Miss Kilgour-Carter v.
