IMPRESSIONS OF DOMINION

N.S.W. AUDITOR-GENERAL RETURNS Received Oct, 26, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 26. Mr. John Spence (New South Wales Auditor-General), upon his return from his official tour of New Zealand, said he would make a detailed report to the Premier (Mr. B. S. B. Stevens) on the New Zealand price-fixing arrangements for primary products. Mr. Spence said he was impressed with the sincerity of Mr. Savage and the members of his Cabinet whatever the outcome of their policy might be. Mr. Spence added that so far as a visitor could judge in a short tour, New Zealand seemed to be prosperous. He had had conversations with 30 to 40 commercial men in the Dominion and many of them had frankly expressed fears about the future.
