POWERFUL ORGANISATION
TO SAFEGUARD INTERESTS DOMINION SECRETARY’S VIEW “There was never more need than to-day for a powerful organisation ol employers,” declared Mr T. O. Bishop, secretary of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, when speakin?, to members of the Wanganui Employers’ Association at their annual meeting last evening. “I do not mean,” he added, “that we need that organisation to fight tht> workers’ organisations in any spirit of hostility. We need an organisation that is strong and that is united; an organisation that is most efficient, active and strong and able to meet the workers’ organisations on a common ground so that the interests of both shall be safeguarded for the good 91 the workers and the employers alike for the successful development of industry and the future prosperity ri this Dominion.”
