The New <ealander, “Lofty” Blomfield, wrestled a one-all draw with the world champion, Bronko Nagurski. The bout Was described by The Sun as a triumph for the New Zealander. "Lofty” Blomfield’s mother at Takapuna, received a cablegram from her son confirming the new. of his draw in a bout for the world's wrestling title. A letter written to her by “Lofty” three weeks ago stated that he had contested 5j matches in the United States -nd Canada, having won fifty and drawn one. He is expected to sail for Auckland on March 28. “TIME LIMIT” BOUT CHAMPIONSHIP RULES [ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 20. In connection with the reference to four hours in the cabled report the bout was contested on a time-limit basis. If the number of falls is equal after that time the result is a draw, but if one man secures two falls the bout is awarded him in the same way as in New Zealand. When the gong goes the wrestlers have to carry on until either secures the necessary falls. There are no rounds, only a time-limit.
