In connection with the reference to four hours in the cabled report the bout was contested on a time-limit basis. If the number of falls is equal after that time the result is a draw, but if one man secures two falls the bout is awarded him in the same way as in New Zealand. When the gong goes the wrestlers have to carry on until either secures the necessary falls. There are no rounds, only a time-limit.
