RIOTING IN MOROCCO
AGITATORS ARRESTED PAN-ARAB MOVE SUSPECTED (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) PARIS, Oct. 27. Rioting at Casa Blanca, Rabat, and Fez, following the arrest of _our native agitators, including one who went to Morocco from Palestine with a British passport, is believed to be associated with a pan-Arab agitation i throughout Morocco, to be extended later to Algeri. and Tunis, and encouraged by certain foreign Powers. Important documents were seized. FOREIGN-BACKED PLOT TO OVERTHROW FRENCH RULE RIOTING AT PORT LYAUTEY Received Oct. 28, 9.50 p.mt. PORT LYAUTEY, Oct. 28. Serious rioting, believed to be part, of a foreign-backed plot to overthrow French rule, occurred at Port Lyautey. A Moslem of Italian nationality collected several hundred Moors who were leaving a mosque and attacked the police with daggers, wounding seven. The police fired at the rioters, killing three and wounding four. Troops have occupied Port Lyautey, Fez and Rabat and many nationalist agitators have been arrested.
