SELLING OF WOOL
DO3IINION FIGURES RISE Sales of wool in the Dominion for the first three months of the season show an increase over the same period in the 1936-37 season, according to returns compiled by Dalgety ar.d Company, Ltd. Dominion offerings comprised 22,412 bales, of which 20,841 bales were sold, against 18,963 bales offered in the previous season and 18,398 sold. Exports of wool during September totalled 18,757 bales, of which 3161 were shipped from Auckland ar.d Opua. For the three months, 71,945 bales were exported, against 61,346 in the previous season, the Auckland and Opua figures being 7878 bales a;.d 7051 bales respectively.
