MARKET VERY FIRM Received Oct. 12, 10.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 12. The market at the wool sales was very firm at the previous day’s with a better tone for finer descriptions, both fleece and skirtings. The demand for dusty and inferior lots was very restricted. Comebacks and crossbreds sold readily at late rates. Greasy Merino realised to 231 d. The offerings totalled 13,084 bales, of which 10,064 were sold at auction and 1434 privately.
