NURSING LEAGUE
WANGANUI DISTRICT. The monthly meeting of the Wanganui District Nursing League was held in St. Paul’s Schoolroom, on Monday afternoon. Those present were Mesdames Siddells (chair), F. L. Peek, Burner Dudding, Williams, Hanson, Misses r raser and Kennedy. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Warnock, Hair and Roche. Sister Lee reported having paid 347 visits. There were 21 new cases and 16 discharged. Mrs. Dudding moved and Miss Fraser seconded, that the following accounts be passed for payment: Car allowance, 14, comfort allowance, 12, to.al f 6. Blankets, flannel, slippers and warm clothing were distributed by the league, among patients. Gifts were gratefully received from the following: Knitted garments, clothing and old linen, Mrs. Dymock; old linen, Anonymous (2); clothing and old linen. Miss Fraser, e/o E. Guild. Visitors for July are Mrs. Hanson and Miss Kennedy. The annual meeting oi the league will be held on the first Monday in July.
