VISITORS TO NEW ZEALAND

INDIAN ARMY OFFICIAL AND WIFE [ T.r Ficfs Association. 1 WELLINGTON, June 9. Lieut.-Col. W. T. Fletcher, legal adviser to the Indian Army, Southern ern Command, arrived by the Wanganella on a five-v eeks’ visit to Nev.Zealand. Owing to his official position. Lieut.-Col. Fletcher had not much to say, but Mrs. Fletcher remarked that they had already visited all the other British Dominions and had found New Zealand the most difficult about which to obtain information. She thought a large number of people in India would be able and willing to visit NewZealand if they could get adequate information about shipping, etc. She thought also that there would be a demand for New Zealand products in India if regularly supplied, and she raised the question of a trade representative in India.
