UNIVERSITY MATCH DRAWN BATSMAN’S QUICK SCORING Received March 9, 11.25 a.m. SYDNEY, March 9. In their match with Combined Universities M.C.C. lost nine wickets for 212 and declared. Hammond made 103, including three sixes and fourteen fours. Bowling, Morrison took two for 46 and Steele three for 64. Combined Universities lost seven for 169. J. Chaplin scored 57 in nineteen minutes, his scoring including two sixes arid nine fours. W. Loxton made 39. Bowling, Verity took three for 13 and Hammond three for 47. The match was drawn.
