N.Z. NAVAL DETACHMENT

ATTENDANCE AT CORONATION 1 Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, March 9. A detachment of New Zealand naval ratings from H.M.S. Leander, transferred from the H.M.S. Dunedin, will take part in an Empire defence procession at the forthcoming Coronation, the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) said to-day. The detachment to represent the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy would comprise an officer of the Leander, a sub-lieutenant, and four representatives of the New Zealand division of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, and 44 active service New Zealand ratings, fifty in all.
