NEW ZEALAND TO ENGLAND SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE [Per Press Ascudatlon] WELLINGTON, Nov. 24. Christmas mails from New Zealand to England this year greatly exceeded last year’s. Official returns show that 23,0681b5. of letters and 125,8631b5. cl other articles, except parcels, were dispatched in the last four Christmas mails compared with 18,4671b5. and 91,3101b5. respectively last year. Last year the last four mails left on November 12, 14, 16 and 19. This year they left on November 10, 14, 16 and 21. Both years the Rangitiki took the last mails to reach England oy Christmas and both years the departure port was Napier.
