STILL UNBEATEN

WRESTLING AT AUCKLAND GEORGE DOWNS BLOMFIELD. [Per Tress Association l AUCKLAND, Nov. 24. Ed (“Don”) George, the American wrestler, who defeated McCready in the open-air contest at Carlaw Park last Saturday week, retained his unbeaten record in New Zealand when he won a match to-night against Blomfield (Auckland). George secured the only fall of the bout in the sixth round. He had been held in a short-arm scissors for some minutes. Then, by using the ropes as a lever, he gradually turned his opponent over on to his shoulders. A large section of the crowd took strong exception to the referee’s decision in awarding the fall to George.
