GROUP DISBANDING

RADIO PRIEST’S NATIONAL UNION Received Nov. 8, 7.20 p.m. DETROIT, Nov. 7. Mr Stephenson, Michigan supervisor of Father Coughlan’s National Union, stated that the group was disbanding until "the people again demand it.” Father Coughlin confirmed the disbanding of his political group, adding that he was withdrawing his radio activities. He admitted that the group had been "thoroughly discredited” by Mr Roosevelt’s election, but had been "put to sleep and not killed.”
