OBITUARY
COUNT GIOVANNI DOLMO Received Oct. 20, 10.50 p.m. SAN RENO, Oct. 20. The death has occurred of Italy's oldest man, Count Giovanni Dolmo, grand master of rolay ceremonies, aged 106. He has served four Italian kings and knew six Popes. REV. W. H. CARNEGIE Received Oct. 20, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 19. 'The death has ocured of the Rev. W. H. Carnegie, Rector of St. Margaret and Canon of Westminster since 1913. The Rev. William Hartley Carnegie was born in 1860 and was twice married, first to Miss Albina Francis Crawley, who died in 1902, and by whom he had five daughters, and then to the widow of the Rt. Hon. Joseph Chamberiain. He was educated at Oxford and spent two years travelling round the world, being ordained in 1887 and working in various parishes prior to his appointment at Westminster. He was made Speaker’s Chaplain to the House of Commons in 1916, Archdeacon of Westminster in 1918, and sub-Dean of Westminster Abbey in 1919. He has published various works on religion.
