HUNTERVILLE

THE RABBIT BOARD. MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Hunterville Rabbit Board was held in the Town Hall, Hunterville, on Tuesday. Present Messrs. L. E. Weston (chair), Grant, Simpson, Duncan, Cameron, J. Leslie, Lambert, Alex. McDonald and C. W. Newport. After the usual routine business had been concluded, Mr. Lloyd Hammond, representing the Rangitikei County Council, waited on the board to see if some satisfactory arrangement could be come to re the control of noxious weeds in the Rabbit Board district. After a lengthy discussion an agreement, which it is hoped will prove satisfactory to both County Council and Rabbit Board, was arrived at, without the necessity of an increase in rates. Accounts amounting to £4B 10s Id were passed for payment.
