GENERAL NEWS The Bulls Football Club’s annual ball attracted a very large crowd on Wednesday evening, over 140 couples giving the dance hall a bright and attractive appearance. A professional orchestra dispensed delightful music, and the M’s.C., Messrs. D. M. O’Connell and F. Cutts, junr., kept everything moving smoothly. The supper was really first class, and great credit is due to Mrs. H. Edwards and other ladies cannected with its preparation and serving. Visitors were present from all parts of Rangitikei, and from as far afield as New Plymouth. It is pleasing to record a dual success, both social and financial. Mr. J. Coogan, of New Plymouth, who was at one time club captain of the Bulls Football Club, made a special visit to Bulls to attend the annual ball.
