WELL BELOW NORMAL
WORLD MAIZE CROP K Received Aug. 5, 7.5 p.m. CHICAGO, Aug. 5. Market experts predicted a world maize crop 900.000,000 bushels below the normal. It is estimated that America will produce 1,572,000,000 bushels, compared with 2,352,000,000 in 1935, while the crop is declining at the rate of 20,000,000 to 25,000,000 bushels daily as a result of the drought.
