IN HEAVY WEATHER
KETCH YVONNE SIGHTED Received Aug. 5. 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 5. The Wanganella passed the ketch Yvonne about 300 miles east of Sydney in heavy weather. An officer aboard the Wanganella semaphored asking the Yvonne whether she required assistance, whereupon a member of the latter's crew signalled: “All well.” The Yvonne, with a crew consisting of A. Venables. J. Sorenson, E King. J. Boshier, D. Angus and J. Ashwood, was heading for Auckland.
