SHIPMENT AT VANCOUVER PROBLEM OF DUMPING DUTY Received Dec. 29, 7.10 p.m, OTTAWA, Dec.' 28. A cargo of New Zealand butter which arrived at Vancouver is giving the Minister of National Revenue worry. It arrived at 21 cents a lb. at Vancouver, where the wholesale price is 26 cents, and is subject to a duty c-f 5 cents a ib. with an automatic dumping duty of four cents. Representations have been made by New Zealand, but as the cargo has arrived, the Government states it can do nothing, bt is likely that the regulations will be modified for future shipments despite the strong r objections of British Columbia dairymen.
