BULB AND PRODUCE SHOW. The tenth annual Bulb and Produce Show was held on Tuesday the proceeds being divided among the library, domain and local branch of tin? Plnnkct Society. Entries in most classes were less than usual, but all articles and blooms were of a high standard. In the absence of the president, Mr. R. J. .Morgan, Air. C. Smith (vicepresident) tendered the thanks of the committee, to the exhibition, the judges and those who had helped to make the show the success it was. He tendered special thanks to the energetic secretary, Air. N. Martin. lie read telegrams of apology from the Hon. J. G. Cob be, ALP., who was unable to be present, and also from Air. J. Morgan, who has undergone an operation in Palmerston North, lie called upon the patron, Air. E. I{. Haythorne, to officially declare the show open. Air. Haythorne com plimented the exhibitors on the class of the exhibits and thanked the outsiders for their support.
