SYDNEY WOOL SALES
Received Sept. 4, 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. -I. At the wool sales 11,546 bales were offered and 10,804 sold, also 350 privately. The market was very firm at the previous day’s levels, with a widening demand for better descript.' ■;is. Chief competition came from Japan, the Continent and Yorkshire. Greasy Merino sold to 22}d.
