SECONDARY SCHOOLS’ TOURNEY GRAMMAR AND NEW PLYMOUTH ( Per Presj Association ) NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 30. Christchurch Boys’ High School defeated Auckland Grammar by 9 to 7 and New Plymouth Boys’ High beat Otago-Boys’ High by 20 to 11 in the splendid concluding round of the secondary schools’ Rugby tournament celebrating the jubilee *of Taranaki Rugby Union. Grammar ami New Plymouth each have two wins and one loss, Christchurch and Otago one win and two losses each. Points for and against arc: New Plymouth 40 and 30; Gram, mar 23 and 20; Christchurch 31 md 38; Otago 33 and 39.
