INDIAN PROVINCES
SEND GIFT TO CANADA. MAGNIFICENT r j/IGER SKIN. OTTAWA, July 1. A friendly gesture from the far-off United Provinces of Agra and Oudb, Inudia, to the Government of Canada, took the form recently of the presentation to tho Prime Minister, Mr. R. B. Bennett, of a magnificent tiger skin. The nctua] presentation was made by Mrs. Ethel Rogers Mulvany, of Toronto, who spent some time recently in the United Provinces and was commissioned by their Administration to deliver the gift to Mr. Bennett. The pelt was taken from a tiger shot by Sir William Stamp, Commissioner of Irrigation for the provinces. Mrs. Mulvany said that as another mark of their friendship for Canada the Provinces were shipping a large collection of native animals as a gift to Canadian children, and 'they arc to be shown in the principal cities.
