The local team showed superior loutwork and combination and were more enterprising Lian the Wanganui boys. Wanganui again made tlrcir way into Wellington I territory, Whiting being prominent in the attack. However, Wellington soon reversed the position, and Stephenson added another goal with a ridiculously soft shot. A minute later he netted aoaiher one. A minute before time was called Wanganui scored their only goal ol the mater., Jeromscn netting a nice one. The final score was Wellington 4, Wanganui 1. The referee was Mr. R. Inch.
