BRING-AND-BUY DAY

DUKIE HILL SCHOOL A very successful bring and buy day was held at the Duriu HHI School on Saturday. The chairman of the Combined School and Dental Clinic Committee briefly addressed those present and explainea the objects of the function ami expressed the thanks of the committees to those who had so willingly come forward to assist. Air. and Mrs. A. Stuart were present and c-tiicially opened p roceedings. The various stalls did splendid business and the results were very gratify ing lo all concerned. The committee has an art union in progress, (lie prize being a very line doll’s house, which is living exhibited in Messrs. Bennett’s, Ltd., ’radio shop, m’xl. to the D.I.C. Tickets may be obtained fr-m members of the coinnuttee or from Messis, Bennett’s, l.ta. Closing date August X and it will bo drawn on August .1 .
