MILK CONTROL
AUCKLAND COUNCIL ALLEGATIONS RESENTED ( Per Press Association ). AUCKLAND, July 4. Following yesterday’s debate in Parliament on milk control in Auckland the chairman of the Alilk Council (Mr. Hutchison) has telegraphed the Minister of Industries and Commerce that ho strongly resents the allegations of bad administration. Not one member of Parliament has applied to the Milk Council for information regarding its proceedings. Ho asks the Minister to see that opportunity is given for evidence to be submitted to a Parliamentary Committee. Dealing with the reported suggestion of one speaker in the debate that he hoped tho ventilation of grievances in th House would result in the Milk Council meeting and deciding to reduce the price of milk, Mr. Hutchison said that his decisions in this matter would be based on tho evidence before him from time to time and would certainly not be influenced by political pressure. He felt sure that would be tho attitude of other members of the Milk Council.
