WEDDING
CASELEY—BREED. St. Laurence’s Church, Aramoho, was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride with hydrangeas, red berries, jonquils, and asparagus fern, for the wedding celebrated there on Saturday evening, June 30, of Afarjorie Irene, only daughter of Air. and Mrs. W. Breed, of Ballance Street, Aramoho, to Francis Gordon, seventh son of Airs. Caseley and the late Air. W. J. Caseley, of “Ngaio Glade,” Papaiti. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Canon W. G. Williams. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a model frock of ivory satin with insets of lace, and a train falling from a bow at the back. Her beautiful veil of embroidered tulle was held to the head with a circlet of orange blossoms, and she » carried a lovely bouquet of pale pink sweetpeas, camelias, freesias, and maidenhair fern. Her attendant maids were Aliss Connie Wilson as chief bridesmaid, and Aliss Nell Needham, a cousin of the bride. Their attractive frocks were of turquoise blue and buttercup yellow georgette respectively, and were cut on slender lines with petalled frilled sleeves. They wore headbands of flowers to tone, and crystal necklets, and carried sequin bags, the gifts of the bridegroom. Their bouquets were of flowers to match their frocks, and were composed of pink sweet peas, freesias and maidenhair fern, and lemon and mauve sweet peas and maidenhair fern respectively. The beautiful bouquets were the gift of Aliss I\. Watson, Papaiti. Air. W. Trezona carried out the duties of best man, and Air. Al. Watson officiated as groomsman. A reception was later held in the Aramoho Boating Club Hall, where Airs. Breed received the guests, numbering about 80. She was wearing a dress of black amure and lac®, black fur coat, and black velour hat with white wing trimming. She held a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Airs. Caseley. the bridegroom’s mother, wore a frock of soft grey wool crepe de chine relieved with mauve and grey felt hat to tone- Autumn-shaded flowers were in her bouquet. The bride’s grandmother was also present, wearing a dress of black mariette and matching hat. The bouquet she held was of red berries and sweet peas. Air, Stokes, who officiated at the organ, later played the dance music at the reception. The happy couple were the recipients of many beautiful presents. Later when they left for a tour of the north, the bride wore a frock of deep wine red silk morocain, wine felt hat to match, and musquash fur coat-
