EX-SOLDIERS’ PENSIONS. A DELICATE UNDERTAKING. Received April 8,7.1 J p.m. LONDON, April 7. The new French decrees are expected to reduce ex-soldiers’ pensions by £20,000,000. Their administration is more delicate than the Public Service economies owing to the ex-soldiers’ numbers and prestige. It is hoped that the ex-soldiers’ delegates to the conference on April 9 with the .Minister of Pensions will accept the reductions.
