NOTORIOUS SPY
NOW A BUDDHIST MONK. CANADA CONSIDERING STATUS. Received April 8, 7.5 p.m. VICTORIA, April 7. Trebitch Lincoln, a former member of the British House of Commons, and a notorious spy in the Great War, is arriving on Monday as a Buddhist abbot with six nuns, on his way to establish a Buddhist temple in Germany. In 1927 a Dr. Ruh created a sensation in British Columbia by a campaign for Buddhism, but when he arrived in China he was exposed. As Lincolns plans a lecture tour of Canada, the immigration authorities are considering his status.
