CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES

“Unreality” was the subject of the Lesson-seromn in all Churches of Christ, Scientist on Sunday, April 8. The Golden Text was from Prov. 12:5, “The thoughts of the righteous are right; but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.’’ Among the citations comprising the Lesson-sermon were the following from the Bible: “How much better it is to got wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! The highway of the upright is to depart from evil; he that keepeth his way preservoth his soul.’’ (Prov. 16:16, 17.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “If goodness and spirituality arc real, evil and materiality are unreal and cannot be tho outcome of an infinite God, good. If evil is real, truth must makeit so, but error, not truth, is the author of the unreal, and the unreal vanishes, while all that is real is eternal.’’
