WHOLESALE PRICES
AN INCREASE RECORDED [ British Official Wireless.) Received Feb. 8, 6.5 p.m. RUGBY, Fob. 7. The Board of Trade journal records an increase of 1.9 per cent, for January in the average of wholesale prices, as compared with the previous month, and of 4.5 per cent, as compared with January, 1933. For the first time for over five years the average for each of ten groups of commodities was higher than in the preceding month.
