MARTON CLUB CARNIVAL SPORTS Although the weather was threatening and a few showers had already fallen before the proposed starting time, the committee decided to carry on with the sports last evening and were rewarded with a good attendance. There were very few falls in the cycle eve , in which there were good fields. J. Guilliard’s wins were very popular and received an enthusiastic reception from tho public. There were also good fields in the gunning events and in several events the finishes were very close. The ‘‘mystery man’’ was discovered by Erie Upchurch, who received a 10/prize.
