THE NUNNELEY CASKET CHANGE IN COMBINED TEAM. Mrs. Thompson (Manawatu) is unable to play in the combined West Coast team to play Wellington for the Nunneley Casket, at Miramar on Friday and Saturday. Her place will be taken by Miss Rutherford (Manawatu), the emergency player, and Miss Purcell (Wanganui) will move into second place. The doubles have now been arranged as follows:—Mrs. Adams with Miss Small, and Miss Purcell with Miss Rutherford. Mr. W. J. Melody (Wellington), will act as manager of the combined team. WANGANUI CLUB VISITORS FROM FEILDING. Over the week-end last the Wanganui Club were hosts to a team from Feilding. The Feilding Club team was considerably weakened by the absence of two or three of its top players but, in spite of this the visitors made a good showing. Unfortunately the rain camo at three o’clock and cut short play. At this stage Wanganui was leading Feilding by 16 matches to 4. The following are the scores.
