Thc position in regard to the City of Dunedin Conversion Loan is that the present holders of thc 4 and 44 per cents, maturing on January 1, 1934, were offered the option of renewing at 4.} per cent, at par. Thc date for acceptance of that offer has now expired and, so far, 40 per cent, of the amount has been renewed at the above figures. Thc question of placing the balance has not yet been definitely decided. Thc total amount of the loans is £356,900.
