RUGBY CLUB’S JUBILEE
PONEKE CELEBRATIONS. REUNION IN SYDNEY. Received Mav 10, 11.45 p.m. SYDNEY, May 10. The Jubilee of the Pon eke Rugby Union Club was celebrated here tonight, synchronising with the Jubilee ball being held at the Wellington Town Hall. Mr. Len Freeman, who gave the dinner, invited a number of former players and supporters of Poneke Club, among whom were J. Richardson, M. Rosenblum, J. McShane, T. Pauling, V. Hannam, H. Jessen, R. Ritchie, S. Nicholls, and H. Cassells, in addition to prominent local Rugby Union officials. It was a convivial gathering.
