It was said in high official quarters on Saturday night that President Roose velt and the spokesmen for the European debtors were unable to agree on war-debt relief plans, and the stops the President will recommend to Congress remained problematical. Meanwhile, Democratic House leaders have privately voiced militant opposition toward any move by the Ad ministration for cancellation, reduction, or even a moratorium during the London Conference. Speaker Rainey said: “There will be no postponements or revision. If t’.ie debtors don’t want to nay they can default." Senate Democratics reiterated that the President would not request authority to revise the debts and even a temporary postponement would be granted by the Senate only after a fight. _
