NO REDUCTION
FEDERAL BASIC WAGE. DECISION OF FULL COURT. MELBOURNE, May 6. Three Judges of the Full Court ot the Arbitration Court, in a reserved judgment, refused to restore the 10 per cent, reduction applied to all awards of the Court in 1931, but a majority of the Court decided that a new method of adjusting the Federal basic wage in accordance with the cost of living be adopted by using an “ill items” table instead of an “all houses” table.
