Although only a few minutes elapsed from the time Wood was seen to be in iflculty and his withdrawal to the beach, he was found to be beyond medical aid. Wood was manager of the furnishing department of Messrs. Smith and Caughey Limited. Besides Mrs. Wood he leaves two young sons.
