The Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department has received the following from the Wellington Radio Station: “The following information has been received from the s.s. Mariposa, at 8.10 p.m., March 20: ‘ Canadian. Seigneur in distress in North Pacific. Empress of Russia going to her help and Oregan Mara now standing by’.”
