A FIVE YEAR PLAN. ITALY’S EXAMPLE. LONDON, June 5. Referring to Signor Mussolini’s fivefear plan to transform Pome into the marvel of the world, the Daily Express suggests the rebuilding of Britain. No body icuhfs. says the paper. (hat Signor Mussolini wU* -ucceed. in spite of the trade depression, unemployment, and an unbalanced Budget. Emphasising the fact that the British Government has dictatorial powers similar to Signpr Mussolini’s, the paper urges the introduction of a five-year plan in Britain, the rebuilding of the slums, the construction of an airport in the heart of London, and the re-equipping »f bridges, railways, docks, aril harbours, thus absorbing the unemployed nstead of continuing doies.
