DISTURBED MENTAL STATE [ Per Press ARForiation. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 13. A verdict of suicide while in a disturbed state of mind was returned at the inquest to-day into the death of Winsome Eleanor ATcGallan, aged 23, who died at the Christchurch Hospital on September 24 as the result of injuries when she threw herself over the cliffs at Scarborough. A note found in her handbag stated her intention to commit suicide. The medical evidence said that the girl had been depressed by fear of tuberculosis, but was perfectly healthy.
